If you've been in our Murray office, you might have seen the beautiful yoga studio, that occupies the entire middle of our space. This lady has been designated as lord and master... Or actually, Yogi-Priestess of that space. (I totally just made that up, on the spot, but I think it fits, so I'm using it.)
We are so proud of all the things this gorgeous lady is doing, and if you haven't met her yet, I'm positive you will, because on top of her therapy duties, Julie also runs Mind-Body-Armor groups. You want to join these, I promise. You won't be sorry!

Julie Lynne Catoe is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah. She has her
Masters in Counseling Psychology concentration in Mental Health (MSCP) from Chaminade
University of Honolulu. She is a certified experienced Yoga Teacher, a meditation guide, and a
certified Facilitator for Women's Gatherings. She has completed a year course in Urban
Priestess Training, Healing Energy Shamanic level I, II, and III, and a year course in Yoga
Psychology with Ashely Turner. EMDR trained.
Julie works with anxiety, depression, sexual abuse trauma, body image issues, and eating
disorders. Julie uses more holistic approaches to counseling as she blends yoga and
psychology to support clients from the inside out. Her approach is calm, supportive, she is
known for her ability to connect with clients and students.
At age 19, Julie found a counselor and started her recovery process from an Eating Disorder.
She knows how valuable counseling is to the process of recovery, especially when it's combined
with meditation and yoga. She learned meditation as part of her recovery, then yoga soon
followed. She knows that this blend played a major role in her recovery. Instead of punishing
and pushing her body, she learned how to listen to her triggers, slow down, and learn from her
body. She knows and believes in this process because she has lived it and studied it. Now she
wants to help others find peace and nourishment within their bodies and to discover their true
potential.
Julie was raised in Utah and left for new experiences in California, Texas, Georgia, and the last
10 years in Hawai’i. She has returned with her family, two daughters, husband, and their dog.
She is either hiking, mountain biking, trail running, skiing, or meditating in the mountains. She
enjoys the mountains and connecting to nature as much as possible.
