In addition to providing therapy at Freedom Counseling, Kristin Erskine teaches Psychopharmacology & Addiction and Spirituality and Values in Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. Before coming to Freedom Counseling, she served as the Clinical Director at Valley Behavior Health’s Tooele Clinic. There, she specialized in treating trauma in children, and serving Spanish-speaking clients. She has also served as Director of Training for the MACMHC Program, and Masters of School Counseling Program, at Argosy University. She has particular experience in Dual Diagnosis treatment for both residential and outpatient settings, Psychological First Aid after traumatic events in the workplace, and doing substance abuse assessments for the Department of Transportation (DOT) employees, as well as DISA (oil rigs) employees.
