Meet Naomia Bell, Grandma to All!

If you've been in or around our Murray office, you've probably seen or run into our beloved Naomia Bell. She is always there, and always checking on and caring for each client and team member as if we were her own children and grandchildren. And if you haven't eaten, she will feed you before you leave!

Naomia Bell has a BA in social science, a teacher education, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Arkansas, a Masters degree from the University of Phoenix in Counseling and Guidance Counseling.  As a school teacher she was certified in Secondary Education, English, Social Science, and Special Education Mild to Moderate. Naomia is trained in advanced EMDR, Mind Body Bridging/Brain Burn, psychopharmacology, moral injury, motivational interviewing, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, CBT, attunement therapy and more. She specializes in trauma, treating the really tough cases where clients truly need her help. She sees the world as though she is everyone’s grandmother, including her work friends, and she acts accordingly by taking care of everyone else, even at the expense of her own health. She’s working on improving that handicap. She is an acute, undiagnosed, treatment resistant food pusher. She loves feeding colleagues and clients. Her clients are fiercely loyal, and usually do exactly as she tells them, because she is like a dog with a bone, and what she says almost always goes.  She will be kind, but beware, she will call you out on your S#$%. Additionally, she believes in the power of intent, and effective, functional spirituality.

Naomia loves to play at Domestication, spend times with her large family, sometimes decorating the Murray clinic to make it more warm and homey. You will notice the indirect lighting and fairy lights. On occasion, her children will bring one or two of the grandbabies for a visit, and then her warmth can be felt all throughout the company. But don’t be mistaken, you’d better follow up on your homework and be honest with yourself.  She sees your heart. Don’t mess around.
