To come face-to-face with therapist Lynette Ballard, you'd never know that she does a lot of work with Grief. She has a jolly voice, and soft, kind eyes, that tend to put a person right at ease. You can see her in our Kaysville office.
Lynette Ballard originally intended to go to nursing school to utilize her compassionate nature, but along the way, her path was diverted, and she got into social work. She got her degree from USC, and then spent the first half of her career as a counselor in the healthcare field, working with patients dealing with hardships like cancer and spinal cord injuries. She specializes in helping clients navigate and heal from all types of grief and loss, including death, divorce, medical crises, betrayal trauma, etc.
Six months living in Europe left her speaking a little bit of German, and gave her a taste for world-travel, but she also loves to read, cook, play piano, and spend time with her husband and daughter.
